QUESTION 2-WHERE DID YOU GUYS GET THE NAME GENERAL STRIKE FROM?

                          J. was the one that came up with the name General Strike for this band. It had something to do with

a work strike in the early 1900's. There were two in two different cities. In one city it was well organized,

and in the other alot of people were killed. J. was talking about the one where a lot of people were killed.

QUESTION 5- DO YOU GUYS HAVE ANY T-SHIRTS FOR SALE? IF SO, WHERE CAN I GET THEM?

We don't have any T-shirts left, and we're not sure if we'll make anymore. Jason (Timebomb) and J. used to make shirts

assembly line style in Jason's kitchen, and then someone stole a whole tub of those shirts at one of our shows. That was

one of the last times we made them.

opening theme when we played under that name. Other than the Nunfuckers other we also used to go under the names,

The Sweet Hearts, The Baby Eaters, and Alabama Churchfire.

QUESTION 10-WHY DON'T YOU GUYS DO THE GENERAL STRIKE FAN CLUB ANYMORE?

Too many people joined the club, and it was costing us a cosiderable ammount of money to send stuff out every three

months. We couldn't seem to get a bulk rate mail account, and rich is one thing we aren't so we had to stop. Sorry.

QUESTION 11-WHY WAS THE NAME THE ALMIGHTY IN FRONT OF YOUR BAND NAME FOR A WHILE?

Alot of people referred to us as the Almighty, The Great, The Legendary, General Strike so we kind of did it for a while

as a joke. The only time we truly went by that name was on the "Bicycle Helmet" single, and in the "Throw Up" album

liner notes, it says "The Almighty would like to thank".

If you take all of the letters in red and go across it spells "KILL ALL HIPPIES". All General Strike albums that don't

have a Hippie Hate song on them will have something hidden in the artwork about hating or killing them.

No Mike is not gay. He is happily married to a woman and now has a child. Nobody in General Strike is, or ever was

gay that we know of. Someone once called Mike gay on the internet, so we wrote a song about it to clear the air.

songs that are unreleased and there is no place that you can find them at this time. We plan on releasing an album this

year, called "Waste", which will be full of those songs that have been stockpiled over the years.

                           THE WAR TRACK?

Actually that is Shawn's voice. It was ran through some sort of compression program. It just changed the frequency of

                    his voice. Creepy isn't it?

QUESTION 16-HAVE YOU GUYS EVER GIVEN MONEY TO ANY CHARITIES, OR PLAYED FOR ANY CHARITIES?

Yes, we have played for several charities over the years. One of the most memorable is when we played for the

American Cancer Society's Relay for life event, and they called the police on us after we played, and then stole all

of our microphones, mic cables and stands. Then about a week after that we got a letter from them, thanking us for

playing and we should come back next year! We believe that our microphones and cables went on to further the

research for the fight against cancer. We actually play alot of benefits for skater's to help build and repair skateparks.

J.'s Favorite- Going to the Dentist- I just love this song, plus I spend alot of time there!

Least Favorite- Old Story- Can anyone say redundant? But my favorite solo Shawn ever played.

Mike's Favorite-Bicycle Helmet-Because I wrote the main beat to the song. My favorite song to play is

Going to the Dentist- Because of how fast it is.

Least Favorite- Nunfuckers- It is too god damn short. It has a hell of a catchy beat so it should have been longer.

Kyle's Favorite- Spite- This song is really fast, and that's why I like it.

Least Favorite- Fury and Pain- I just don't like this song.

Shawn's Favorite- Inbred-It's such a political song. I'm glad our band could have a hand and bring it to the public's

attention. I mean, it's a real problem in our society.

A close second- Never Fall in Love with a Stripper- Same reason

Least Favorite- Mike is Not gay- Worst lyrics I've ever heard in my life. I didn't actually know how bad they were

until we recorded the song. Way to go Chaos!

Jason R.'s Favorite- Bicycle Helmet- This song is fun to play, and it was very clever.

Least Favorite- Throw Up- Man, I always fucked this one up.

Bob's Favorite- Coffee Grinds- Because J. doesn't sing on it!

Least Favorite- All the Grateful Dead songs you are asked to play- Because the Grateful Dead sucks!

Darrin's Favorite- Gaybots from Hell- Awesome tempo changes, and really cool lyrics.

Least Favorite- E Pluribus Unum- I fucked this one up alot in the studio, but still one of my favorites.

Jason T.'s Favorite- Never Fall in Love with Stripper- So different than the other songs.

Least Favorite- Two- This song is all over the place, but I can still play it.

We don't really know what the best songs are, but here is a list of the most obscene songs that have pissed the

                    most people off.

YOUR MOM, INBRED, KUNG-FU DRYBUTTHOLE, HIPPIE SONG, ENERGY, AIDS WILL KEEP US TOGETHER,
